Bernina Express

The first photo was taken aboard the Bernina Express, a scenic train that travels from St. Moritz to Tirano, mostly within Switzerland. The route goes through amazing landscapes of mountains, valleys, and lakes.

One of its many stops is Morteratsch, where you can start a 2-hour trail to the Morteratsch Glacier. I captured a picture of the end of glacier, where a river starts flowing and creates those stunning patterns.

The final photo was taken at the Bernina Pass, another stop on the Bernina Express. Here, the train reaches its highest point at 2253 meters above sea level, passing next to the Lago Bianco.
