Conductors know best!
As I walked on the platform in Tirano’s train station, ready to embark on the train to St. Moritz, a conductor asked if I needed help. I told her where I was going and she suggested I take a seat at the end of the train, where there’s no air conditioning and the windows can open, so you can take a good picture. I guess she was used to young solo backpackers and she knew what most of us are looking for when taking the breathtaking Bernina Express train. So thanks to super friendly conductor, who by the way spoke at least three languages, I took some of the most amazing pictures of my train travels through the Alps this summer.
