Travelling in the Alps with train and bike.

On my journey by train and bicycle, this section of the route was one of the most beautiful of my entire trip. After an eventful day with some lovely encounters, I was on the last few kilometres of my bike ride for the day and enjoyed the beautiful evening sun along my route in the Saane Valley. I then later enjoyed the sunset on the truly beautiful train route along the Montreux–Simmental line and finally arrived at a friend’s house in Lausanne in the evening after another short train ride along Lake Geneva. What a fantasic day! :))

This was my first time taking a longer trip by train and bike in the Alps, and I really enjoyed it and would definitely do it again! :))
