On the top of the world
During my interrail trip, when I stayed near Lake Thun, I decided to go hiking. It was a very cloudy morning, but despite the humid and cold air I left the house early. At the beginning, I was hiking only slowly and with little energy, as the cold wheather was making my body stiff.
Suddenly, I broke through the cover of clouds and found myself above the valley almost on the mountain peak. The sun was shining, warming my skin. It was such a beautiful view!
There was an uttermost silence there, high above the clouds. From time to time, I could only hear the cowbells ringing from the meadows far below the clouds.
In that moment, I felt like if I had found the top of the world, without searching for it.
