Meeting the Neighbours: an Italian in Slovenia

For my Yoalin travels, I chose Slovenia, a country I had never visited before. I set out on a journey to discover the places, food, life, language and culture of our neighbours, which took me to the capital city of Ljubljana, the breathtaking caves of Postojna, the lovely town of Radovljica, the beautiful Lake Bled, and lastly to the subject of my picture, the square shared by Nova Gorica and Gorizia (Italy), a powerful symbol and an important reminder of the complex history that connects us.
