Travelling sustainably through the Alps

Cycle through the Tyrolian Alps

Yoalin travellers can rent a mountain bike or an e-bike for free for one day at different locations in Tyrol which are accessible by public transport. Each traveller gets a voucher code which is valid from 1st July to 30th September. You can easily book the bike with the online app wegfinder Via the app you can select which type of bike you want to hire where and when. Then you only have to enter the voucher code instead of paying. Once you are at the bike station, you can rent your bike at the touch of a button and lock it up again during your ride. All you need is your smartphone and a Bluetooth connection switched on. As easy as you rent your bike, you can also return it: Simply put it back, plug your e-bike back in to charge and finish the ride via the app.

All that then remains to do is to head out into the mountains on two wheels and enjoy the best trails Tyrol has to offer. For example, you can do the Navis Loop – a mountain bike ride of intermediate difficulty that takes cyclists through some of the most beautiful meadows at the end of the Navistal Valley. You just need to take the train from Innsbruck to Matrei am Brenner and pick up your bike in the“Bike Tirol lounge” opposite the railway station. The tour starts in Navis and leads past several huts, including the Naviser Hütte, Stöcklalm, Klammalm and Peeralm, meaning there are plenty of opportunities to stop off for a drink and a snack. Riders can also look forward to fine views of the Wipptal Valley and the Stubai Alps.
